Food Awareness at Hyvee in Faribault

Thank You to everyone that stopped by the HyVee Food Store in Faribault Friday for the Food Awareness Program! It was fun to talk with shoppers about where their food comes from. When you include all the business that provide the inputs for Farmers, the service sector, processors, retailers like HyVee and transportation it accounts for 20 percent of our economic activity in Minnesota and the United States. Thank You also to the Rice County Farm Bureau, Rice County Pork Producers, Rice County American Dairy Association, Minnesota Turkey Growers and the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers and HyVee for sponsoring the event.
