First Faribault Car Cruise of Season a Success

The Faribault Main Street Car Cruise summer shows kicked off on Friday night on Central Avenue in downtown Faribault with a great turnout.Two blocks filled with a great assortment of vehicles, tasty food, prize, music and excellent weather all came together for a great night.

Every third Friday of the month during summer, Faribault Main Street hosts a Car Cruise Night bringing in a great variety of cars. The remaining dates for this year’s car cruise dates are June 17, July 15, August 19, and a bonus car cruise on August 26. Whether you are into muscle cars, custom restorations, old trucks, motorcycles, Model A’s, fun details, hood ornaments, tuners or special interest, there is something for everyone. There is also a chance to win prizes, and Power 96’s Mike Eiler can be found playing music on Central Avenue as people stroll and take in the amazing cars parked in downtown Faribault.

It’s always a fun evening, and the cars that people bring are rare, interesting showpieces. Some vehicles make repeat appearances throughout the summer, but there are also new cars and trucks to check out.
