Final Winter Dairy Series Seminar

The final Winter Dairy Series seminar for this year will be on Monday March 12, 2018 starting at noon at the First Bank & Trust ( formerly State Bank of New Prague) located at 1101 1st St SE in New Prague. On the program will be Ann Traxler, Le Sueur County Emergency Management Director. Traxler will help you prepare an emergency management plan for your livestock when the worst strikes.

Steve Breaker from Le Sueur County NRCS will talk about EQUIP and other cost-sharing conservation practices available for your dairy farm. In addition Dan Vermilyea Steele County Feedlot officer will be there to answer any questions you might have about your dairy operation and manure management.

The University of Minnesota Extension Service and Minnesota Dairy Initiative South Central region are sponsoring the Winter Dairy Series.
