The top two seeds advanced to the East Subsection title game in Class 2A and there was an upset in the Class A East Subsections Tuesday night in Rochester.  In Class 2A Caledonia outscored Lake City 91-78.  Both teams shot lights out from three point range in the spacious arena.  Caledonia was 11 of 24 and Lake City 10 of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Warriors were led by Kyle Sorenson's 19 points while Lake City's Reid Lundell, Cory Dick and Jesse Oliver all collected 17 points.  Lake City finishes their season 16-10 and the 25-2 Warriors will tangle with fellow Three Rivers Conference foe Plainview-Elgin-Millville Saturday evening at 5 in the Mayo Civic Auditorium.  PEM bested Chatfield 61-56 in other semi-final.  Nick Shanks led PEM with 26 points and Nate Skare had 16 for the Gophers.  Chatfield ends their season 19-7, PEM is 22-6.

In Class A Rushford-Peterson clubbed Lanesboro 79-53 and Spring Grove downed Mabel-Canton 62-46 to set up the Championship game in that Subsection.  The two winners square off at 11am Saturday in the Auditorium for the East title and a chance to play the West Subsection champion for a trip to the State Tournament.
