It was a short tryout to make a huge impression, and Zach Olstad did just that. He signed with the Buffalo Bills after rookie minicamp.

Olstad played his college football at Winona State, and had a tryout with the Minnesota Vikings last week but was not signed. That allowed him to try out with the Bills where he impressed.

The former Warrior can play tight end and fullback, and he tailed 28 receptions for 218 yards and a touchdown in his career. He rarely carried the ball as he served primarily in a blocking role.

The only other fullback on the Bills roster is Pat DiMarco, so Olstad still has a lot of work to do. Yet, he has a chance to make the team if he can continue to impress.

Olstad is from Harmony and graduated from Fillmore Central in 2012.
