This Saturday November 4, 2017 there will be a Farmers Market Training program in Faribault. The training will be in Faribault at the paradise Center for the Arts classroom downstairs. The paradise Center for the Arts is right on Central Avenue in Faribault at 321 Central Avenue North. This is specially for current vendors, new vendors, farmers market managers and local administrators that field questions about farmers market requirements.

Kathy Zeman the Minnesota Farmers Market Association Operations manager will provide an overview of some of the Farmers Market basic rules and commonly asked questions and answers. Kathy will also be available to answer specific questions about any products you may be considering bringing to a Farmers Market. Because of food safety concerns there are regulations that need to be followed. There is a law called the Minnesota Cottage Foods Law that vendors need to understand and follow. The cost is just $10. If you have questions call Tiffany Tripp 507-491-8188.
