Roger Steinkamp, executive director at Farmamerica will be my guest on Tuesday's AM Minnesota program. Farmamerica is Minnesota's interpretive center, located 4 miles west of Waseca. Their mission is to tell the story of agriculture in Minnesota's past, present and future. Farmamerica has 360 acres to fulfill that mission, with a beautiful visitors' center and many other historic buildings that have been moved to the grounds. This is a picture of my 1958 John Deere 820 sitting next to a new four-wheel-drive tractor. In 1958, this was the biggest tractor John Deere made. It looks like a baby next to that big new four-wheel-drive. It sums up what Farmamerica is about, telling the story of agriculture's past and present.
