A Faribault woman has received probation for a chase that reached speeds over 100 miles per hour. The chase began in Northern Iowa and ended after going through  Minnesota.

Forty-five-year-old Monica Lynch pled guilty to fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle after a pursuit that ran from North Iowa into southern Minnesota. Authorities say she didn’t stop running until her vehicle hit deployed stop sticks set up in Freeborn County.

On Friday, Lynch was sentenced to four years of supervised probation.

During the chase along I-35, authorities say Lynch threw items suspected to be methamphetamine and marijuana out the window.
