The Faribault Winter Farmer's Market is back this year at the Paradise Center for the Arts and we will get more details on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program beginning 9:30 a.m.

Remember if you can't listen at that time you can always watch the show at your leisure at www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio.  The program is typically uploaded by mid-afternoon.

Tiffany Tripp of Graise Farm and Deeann Lufkin of CannonBelles Cheese will be in studio to tell us all about the selection of items and the success of the Winter Farmer's Market in Faribault.

The market features locally grown products including baked goods, cheese, shrimp, eggs, goat milk soap, fresh vegetables and canned vegetables.

Through December 23rd the market is held every Saturday at the Paradise Center for the Arts from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and then markets will also be conducted February 3rd, March 3rd and April 7th of next year.

The Winter Farmer's Market started last year and was brought back because of it's success and potential for growth.

I for one love the idea because when the farmer's markets in Central Park are over at the end of October I typically don't get to enjoy fresh vegetables or homemade breads until the next spring.

Another added benefit to these markets is the Paradise Holly Days sale of art items.

While you are there shopping for good food check out the awesome displays of art.

Probably the last decade my parents were alive I would give them (and other folks) on my Christmas shopping list pieces of art because it's unique and I don't have to worry about someone else getting them the exact same gift.
