The business director and director of buildings and grounds for the Faribault Public Schools, Colleen Mertesdorf and Kevin Hildebrandt, join us today.

School funding is tied directly to enrollment and Mertesdorf and her colleagues come up with the enrollment projections for the district. We will find out if Faribault Public Schools are growing.

Maintenance on buildings is constant and we will talk about the shape our school buildings are in. It's been nearly 20 years since the district built Roosevelt Elementary and remodeled the high school.

Superintendent Todd Sesker has informed us on past AM Minnesota programs of the need for more room for classes in some of the buildings. Is there a need for additions to any of the facilities in the district?

We will touch on those questions with Hildebrandt and Mertesdorf. I hope you can tune in at 9:30AM and become informed about what's happening in your public schools.

Remember, if you can't listen at 9:30AM, you can go the KDHL homepage and click the AM Minnesota tab to listen and watch shows on our YouTube channel.
