Faribault Police Seeking Assistance In Catching Bathroom Vandal

Faribault Police Captain Neal Pederson says his department would love to get some assistance from the public in capturing an arsonist.  Over the weekend police were notified of a arson in Alexander South Park.  Video surveillance shows an unknown suspect entering the park bathrooms on Friday, September 26 just after 5pm.  Shortly after the suspect exited, smoke is seen coming from the building.  Captain Pederson told KDHL the damage is estimated at approximately $600 in repair costs.  The suspect is a white male with short dark hair and a muscular build. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white Hollister bird logo, black shorts and black sneakers.  His vehicle appears to be a silver four door GM, possibly a Buick or Oldsmobile with a sunroof.  Faribault Police are requesting our help in identifying the person.  We've attached a shot from the video.  If you know who this is or think you know who is in the picture please phone Faribault Police at 507-334-4305.  If you wish to remain anonymous, the tipline is 507-334-0999.  Captain Pederson says they have received a few tips, but no arrests have been made and they'd like to catch the man.
