Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen told KDHL Monday they needed the public's assistance in apprehending a armed robber.  Chief Bohlen says his department received a call shortly after 2 Sunday afternoon that an armed robbery had taken place at the Kwik Trip located at 1112 NW 2nd Avenue.  He noted the suspect displayed a knife to store personnel and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect was described as a black male, 15-16 years of age, wearing a black stocking cap, sunglasses, a red shirt with the number 21 on one sleeve and a skull design on the back, dark-colored pants, gray Nike tennis shoes and carrying a Minnesota Twins bag.  He was last seen running south on NW 3rd Avenue and 11th Street.  The Faribault Chief added no individuals were hurt and provided us with some stills of a surveillance video from the store in hopes someone will identify this individual and contact Faribault police at 507-334-4305.  Anonymous tips can be called to the tipline at 507-334-0999.  Chief Bohlen says, "This kind of violent crime has no place in our community.  We are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person responsible for this crime.
