Faribault Park & Rec Family Winter Fish Camp on Saturday, Jan. 17

The Faribault Park & Rec is hosting a Family Winter Fish Camp on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington Rec Center, 117 Shumway Ave., Faribault

This free indoor event offers kids of all ages and their parents special hands-on ice-fishing-related activities that will prepare them for a quality experience when they venture out on the ice. The camp happens on the front end of Take-A-Kid Ice Fishing Weekend (Jan. 17-20), where residents can fish for free when accompanied by a child 15 or younger.
