Faribault Marketing Director on AM Minnesota

Faribault Marketing Director and Coordinator of the Main Street Program Nort Johnson is scheduled to be our guest on AM Minnesota at 9:30AM today.

If I remember correctly, and memory is becoming more of an issue as I get older, Nort is pretty excited about the possibility of the community getting a field house.

This would be an indoor facility and what would be included inside is still up for debate.

The proposal is still in the talking stages although there has been talk between the school district and city about a join venture.

Johnson told us during our last visit that any amenity the community has helps in "selling" the community to future businesses and residents.

We will probably touch on that topic again today and see what Nort would like to discuss.

There is a parking study for the downtown. I believe it's the fourth or fifth study since I arrived in Faribault 30 years ago.
