Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen praised his officers for their handling of a stabbing downtown early Saturday morning.  Bohlen told KDHL 30 year old Juan Zamarripa was the victim and noted hospital offcials in the Twin Cities indicated he was going to survive his multiple stab wounds.  Police were dispatched to downtown Faribault 1:45am Saturday on the report of a stabbing incident.  Chief Bohlen said there were a couple of people who had to be restrained because the were interfering with the officers attempts to aid Zamarripa.  Two men were detained and taken to jail and the investigation into the case continues.
