Faribault International Festival Details on AM Minnesota 8-10-2015

The 10th annual International Festival Faribault is Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, in Central Park.

Hours are 10AM to 4PM. So you can attend and still make it to the season-opening football games in the area.

I attended last year and it was a lot of fun. Some dancers with colorful costumes performed along with some very talented musicians on the Band Shell stage. There was a silent auction with some unique items.

There will be a flag ceremony, arts and crafts, and kids activities. My favorite part was the variety of food available. Cuisine from all over the world is featured.

We all know Faribault has a terrific diversity of cultures, and this is where we can all learn more about some of those cultures. Everyone is welcome to come to Central Park in Faribault and celebrate.
