Polling shows the issue most people are concerned about these days in this country is health care.

Today we are blessed to have Allina District One Hospital of Faribault outgoing CEO Stephen Pribyl and incoming CEO David Albrecht on AM Minnesota.

The program begins at 9:30 a.m. at 920 on your AM dial.

If you can't listen at that time or can only listen to a portion of the show, it will be videotaped and available for your information on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio.

That's true of all our shows.  We try to have them uploaded by the middle of the afternoon of the day they are in studio.

Albrecht is currently the CEO of the Allina Owatonna Hospital and I had an interesting chat with him Monday at the Faribault Area Hospice Foundation Tree Lighting Ceremony on the hospital campus.

He told me it's a trend in the medical field these days to have smaller hospitals share administrators and doctors.

I plan on asking both gentlemen to get their crystal balls out and give us their best guess about where health care is headed in the future.

One thing seems obvious to this average American nearing retirement age.

Unless changes are made there will be no Medicare to assist with medical care when most need the assistance the most.
