Faribault Falcon senior goalie Camryn Salmonsen has three straight shutouts following their 2-0 win over the Owatonna Huskies Saturday.

Head Coach Ali Miller and Assistant Coach Erin Kastner stopped by Faribault Interiors Saturday morning and told us the team is understanding how to limit the number of shots by the opposition.

Coach Miller says Salmonsen tells the coaches she likes to see a lot of shots but the proof is in the results with consecutive shutouts the last three games by controlling the puck more in the offensive zone.

Despite their recent success the Falcons are not in the Let's Play Hockey Top 20 in Class A girls high school hockey.

But I get the impression Faribault would rather fly a bit under the radar.
