The Faribault Falcon girls hockey team defeated Owatonna 4-0 at home while the Falcon boys hockey team defeated Fairmont 5-0 on the road Tuesday night.  No statistics were provided for the boys game.  For the girls Abigail Goodwin scored two goals, Kayli Burkhartzmeyer and Olivia Williamson netted the other scores for the Falcons.

Goodwin's first goal 15:47 of first period was unassisted.  Burkhartzmeyer's goal was also unassisted.  Goodwin's second goal was assisted  by Burkhartzmeyer and Williamson and Williamson's goal was assisted by Haley Lang.  Faribault was 0-4 on the power play and Owatonna 0 for 3.

The Falcons outshot the Huskies 28-25 and junior goalie Mikayla Bohner had 25 saves to achieve her third shutout of the season.  Faribault is now 8-3 overall and 7-2 in the Big Nine while Owatonna drops to 3-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in league play.
