Faribault Gardening Club Annual Plant Sale is Saturday

Faribault GROWS (Gardeners Reaching Out With Service) members Pat Rice and Emily Nesvold will give us details on AM Minnesota today about their upcoming plant sale.

The sale is Saturday from 8AM to noon at the Faribault Senior Center parking lot. Proceeds go toward purchasing trees for parks throughout Faribault and flowers for the Central Park flower beds the organization takes care for the community.

Hostas and perennials are featured at this year's plant sale. I say this year because the organization has the sale every year and it has become a very popular event.

If you are not a member of their organization but would like to donate a plant for sale this Saturday, you can just drop it off that morning.

We will learn the history of GROWS and find out how you can join. When and where their meetings are held. I know they recently had a informational event about being pollinator friendly.
