The Faribault Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Faribault that was founded in 1999. The organization serves to promote and enhance the quality of life for residents of Faribault with emphasis on community pride, families and youth, diversity and to encourage community philanthropy.

This year, the Faribault Foundation is offering Pride Grants again. Four Pride Grants will will be awarded to organizations or groups of people that have an interest in and plan to make improvements in our community. Some of the past recipients of Pride Grants include the Basic Blessings Backpack program, the restoration of the Tilt-a-Whirl that now sits on Central Avenue displaying a piece of Faribault's history, and the Second Street Pocket Garden in downtown Faribault. The Foundation is also under a fundraising campaign called the 365 Project. The 365 Project asks people to contribute $365, or $1 a day, which helps fund the program and make these Pride Grants available. With a contribution, you become a member of the Foundation and gives you a voice in the Pride Grant Program.
