Faribault Falcon Baseball Season Opener Postponed

The Faribault Falcons were supposed to open their season Friday against the Red Wing Wingers.

The game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 25, and I'm bummed because I was supposed to broadcast the game on Power 96 Radio.

Virtually the entire Big Nine sports schedule has postponements and cancellations.

Still scheduled for Friday are:

• Mankato West boys tennis hosts New Ulm, 4:30PM
• Holmen, Wis., is at Winona for a 5PM baseball game
• Cannon Falls at Red Wing softball, 5PM
• Waseca baseball at Mankato East, 5PM

• Lake City at Goodhue baseball, 4:30PM
• Byron at Triton softball, 4:30PM
• Lake City at Kenyon-Wanamingo softball rescheduled for April 11
• Byron at Kenyon-Wanamingo baseball rescheduled for April 28

• Stewartville baseball and softball vs. Adams/Friendship at Woodside Sports Complex in Mauston, Wis., 9AM
• Pine Island baseball at Caledonia, noon
• Ellsworth, Wis., baseball at Lake City, 1PM
• Hayfield at Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton baseball, 2:30PM
• Lake City boys tennis at Baldwin-Woodville, 9AM
