Faribault Community Marketing Director on AM Minnesota

Faribault Community Marketing Director and Main Street Program Coordinator Nort Johnson is scheduled to join us in the KDHL Studio today for AM Minnesota.

We have a number of items to discuss.

Thursday, August 31 at 5PM there will be a celebration at the Chamber honoring the memory of former Chamber employee Barb Larson.

The Chamber commissioned a mosaic featuring a peaceful scene featuring words and images "reminding us of the happiest times with Barb," Chamber President Kymn Anderson says.

The artist, Caron Bell, is scheduled to be there.

Anderson adds, "The inside of the lobby has been refreshed with a new front desk, vibrant new paint and lighting thanks to the contributions of many local businesses."

Textile art by Judy Saye-Willis is featured in the lobby.

The open house is from 5-6:30PM and refreshments will be provided. The dedication ceremony is at 5:30PM.

Nort will also touch on the upcoming 25th annual Taste of Faribault at the American Legion on Thursday, September 21, from 5:25-8:25PM.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

This Friday there is a Jerry Kes memorial Beer Bash at Bashers also.
