Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault is once again hosting a community Christmas dinner.

Former KDHL employee Tom Hartman stops by to give us details at 9:30AM about the event scheduled for this Sunday. Serving is from 11AM to 1PM. The church is at 219 N.W. Fourth Ave.

Hartman is a member of the church and says everyone is invited to attend the service at 9AM but it is not required to partake in the dinner.

Donations will be accepted and we will ask him where that money is used. I don't recall how many years they have been hosting this, but we will try to find out that information also.

I know in past years Hartman has related the event is a joyous occasion and was born out of the idea that no person should be alone during Christmas.

If you can't tune in at 9:30AM, go to www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio and watch the program anytime.
