Faribault Chamber of Commerce On AM Minnesota Today

Kymn Anderson, president of the Faribault Chamber of Commerce, stopped by KDHL studios for today's AM Minnesota program. Gordy asked me to fill in for him because he is on vacation the rest of this week. It is always enjoyable to talk with Kymn about the activities that the Faribault Chamber of Commerce is involved in. We are fortunate to have such an active Chamber of Commerce in Faribault. We are also fortunate to have a Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee. There are only a few Community Chamber of Commerce's in Minnesota that have an Agri-Business Committee.

Kymn mentioned many activities the Faribault Chamber has coming up. The downtown car cruise has gotten very popular. The Faribault Chamber of Commerce golf tournament is coming up, along with Crazy Days. A new twist this year, Crazy Days will include the Faribo West Mall and any other business that want to join in. So this year it is a Faribault Crazy Days, not just Downtown Faribault. In just two weeks at the Rice County Fair the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee helps organize and sponsor the Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame.
