Faribault Business Expo a Success

It was a great day at the 24th annual Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Business Expo at the Faribault Ice Arena! Mike Eiler, Jerry Groskruetz, Bryan Cantu, Kris, Tamara and Duane, in addition to myself, were all there representing KDHL and Power 96. 

We got to meet and chat with so many wonderful listeners, saw KDHL and Power 96 alums and were able to catch up, and got to meet many new people. This year's focus was on being green, and in addition to the River Bend Nature Center being on hand with information, several of the exhibitors showcased their green efforts. There was no admission to the event, and there were more than 60 businesses covering the entire spectrum presenting information about their companies, plus a community showcase featuring area nonprofit organizations. Exhibitors ranged from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota to landscaping, banks to textile companies, restaurants to insurance agencies.
