Faribault Community Marketing Director Nort Johnson will stop by the studio for a visit. The Faribault City Council last night approved the appointment of Rice County Historical Society Executive Director Susan Garwood to the city's tourism committee. Garwood replaces Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director Ryan Heinritz. At their Feb. 23 meeting Heinritz announced he was taking another position in the Twin Cities and leaving his post at PCA.

Johnson also is in charge of the Faribault Main Street program, and I'm sure we'll touch on what's happening there, also. It won't be long now and the snow will be gone and thoughts of activities on our great lakes in the area, bicycling and all sorts of fun will dance in our heads.

Pictured below is a Tilt-A-Whirl people enjoyed in 1957. I wasn't even born then. I hope you'll tune in 9:30 a.m. If you can't, remember you can catch the show on our YouTube channel.
