Faribault Area Hospice has their 30th annual tree lighting event Monday, December 7, at 7PM.

Pam Tidona stops by the KDHL studio to give us details about the brief service.

I have attended most of them over the years and KDHL will once again be broadcasting for those who can't attend. A number of people park on the street so they can see when the lights go on and listen in the warmth of their vehicle to KDHL.

The Faribault Area Hospice team works together by focusing on the hospice patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

The care teams consists of medical directors, attending physicians, social workers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, hospice aides, pharmacists, bereavement coordinator, hospice volunteers, chaplains and allied therapists.

Faribault Area Hospice has a bereavement program that helps families adjust to the death of a loved one by providing emotional support, grief education and resources.

Bereavement program services and materials are free and available to patients, families and the community at any time.

If you can't tune in at 9:30AM, then watch the AM Minnesota program on our YouTube channel.
