The Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to join us for our monthly AM Minnesota visit today.

I didn't get the opportunity to visit with Chamber officials about our discussion topics this month so we will be winging it today. Not the first time that's happened.

I'm sure we will touch on the Virtues Project coming to Faribault. It is a grassroots initiative in more than 100 countries to "inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life, sparking a global revolution of kindness, justice and integrity." It was founded in 1991 and honored by the United Nations during the International Year of the Family as a "model global program for families of all cultures."

Two separate two-day sessions will be held in August. The training takes place at The Inn at Shattuck-St. Mary's. The sessions will run from 9AM to 4PM each day August 2-3 and August 4-5. The training is described as a "highly interactive workshop."

There is a cost to attend and details can be obtained by contacting the Chamber at (507) 334-4381.

I hope you'll join us at 9:30AM or tune in to our YouTube channel.
