The Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce stops by today for their bi-monthly visit about happenings in their organization and throughout the community.

I'm sure we will get more details about the upcoming Main Street sponsored Winterfest celebration.

Saturday, December 2 there will be a lighted parade and everyone is welcome to enter a illuminated float and join in the fun.

For a spot in the parade contact the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism at 507-334-4381.

That's not all.  A street dance follows the parade.

You are encouraged to dance.  It's a great way to stay warm.

Thursday, November 30 will be the annual Window Decorating contest throughout downtown Faribault.

There will be complimentary horse drawn wagon rides throughout the downtown area that night and new this year will be an ice carving.

Adam Scholljegerdes is making the sculpture from a block of ice.

We will probably get some details about Shop Small Saturday which is November 25, after Thanksgiving and Black Friday and before Cyber Monday.

If you can't listen at 9:30 a.m. go to www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio and watch the program at your leisure.

It should be uploaded to our YouTube channel by mid-afternoon.
