The Falcons know it's getting down to crunch time on the season. They came into "The Cage" in Red Wing on Tuesday night, still without the services of Kade Hart and TJ Hunt. Joe Jackson was going to get his first playing time in over a week. And even though Red Wing only had five wins on the season, they have some talent and this was not going to be a cakewalk.

The first half was a scrappy, low scoring one, I counted six lead changes and the Falcons lead 23-22 at the break.

Red Wing came out with a little more power and the Falcons were a little flat but the lead changed a few more times in the second half. The Falcons led with less than three minutes to go but the Wingers got some breaks and won it 49-46.

Cody Ehlers had 17, Chase Ernste had 11 and Joe Jackson had nine to lead the Falcons, and they were the State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault players of the game.

Faribault, now 12-9, needs wins on Thursday against Rochester Century and Albert Lea on Friday to hope to hang on to the No 3 seed in 2AAA.
