The Faribault Falcons will cement a first round bye in the playoffs with a win at Winona tonight and have a shot at the top seed if the Northfield Raiders upend the Owatonna Huskies in Northfield and Faribault wins.  The Winhawks have struggled this season, particularly on defense.  Faribault is the top rushing team in the Big Nine and Winona ranks 10th out of the 12 teams against the run.  Winona is 5th in the Conference in passing, averaging 152 yards a game.  The Falcons are third in total offense and Winona is 10th.  Faribault is 5th in total defense and the Winhawks are 10th.  Winona has had trouble scoring ranking at the bottom of the conference in points scored and are 9th in points allowed while the Falcons are 4th in scoring and 5th in points allowed.  Coverage begins 6:45pm from Paul Giel Field in Winona on POWER 96 Radio, 95.9FM.  You can also listen at power96radio.com and by downloading the free Radio Pup app on your favorite mobile device.
