Mankato West now 11-4 on the season.

The Faribault Falcons Tuesday night played their best basketball of the season according to their Head Coach and came ever so close to their first conference win of the year.  Faribault led for the first 10 minutes of the game and trailed by 8 at the half.  The Scarlets punched the lead up to 12 at one point but the Falcons came storming back and found themselves down by one late in the contest.  A four point lead with under a minute to go turned into 8 because Faribault had to foul. Senior Nate Emge led all scoring in the game with 27 points and connected on all but three of the second half field goals Faribault had.  The final score was 60-52.  Emge will continue playing hoops at Riverland Community College in Austin and will be joined by Northfield's Hunter Sannes.  The Raider announced his selection over the weekend while Emge made the choice last month to go with the Blue Devils.  Emge, Luke Anderson and Kallan Hart were our Faribault State Farm Agents Faribault players of the game.
