After a win over Mankato West on Tuesday, the Faribault Falcons faced a much tougher opponent in the Marshall Tigers on Saturday night.

Marshall controlled the game from the get-go and the Tigers had 13 points on the board when the Falcons got a free throw. At the half, the Tigers led 29-9. Marshall got 26 and the Falcons scored 20 in the second half and Marshall won 55-29.

Brady Combs had 11 to lead Faribault. Our State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault, players of the game were the seniors: Win Hunter, Ramsey Schaffer, Combs, Abdiaziz Farah, Nate Gramse and Ian Matakis.

The Falcons ended up at .500 at 14-14 overall.

The Faribault girls will begin play at Nomeland Gym at Faribault High School on Wednesday, March 2, against Jordan.
