Rice County Fair Talk On AM Minnesota With John Dvorak

Rice County Fair manager John Dvorak was on AM Minnesota today. Driving through the Rice County Fairgrounds this week the crew sure has the fairgrounds looking nice. Everything is spruced up and it looks like the fair could be next week! Well, it is only about six weeks away. Of course all the rain and warm weather has helped the grass look lush and green. We are fortunate that the Rice County Board of Commissioners support the fair because there are a lot of buildings to maintain.

Kathy Cap was also on today's AM Minnesota Program. Kathy is on the Rice County Fair Board and organizes the Rice County Fair Queen contest. This is the 40th Rice County Fair Queen contest. Kathy has contacted almost all of the past royalty and invited them to the coronation this year. There are a few that she could not find, so if you know someone, ask them if they know about the reunion this year!
