When you're downtown enjoying this Saturday's Faribault Fall Festival and Chili Contest with your family, don't forget to stop by the Paradise Center for the Arts at 321 Central Ave., for a spooky good time. They'll be hosting the Haunted Basement. Bring the kiddies in for a tour of the very bowels of this esteemed theater where the ghosts of the past still haunt the places most people never get to see. You're sure to bump into a few goblins and ghouls for a scary good time. The Haunted Basement is a free event and will open its doors to curious fright seekers at 1PM, but be sure to escape by 3PM or you'll be entombed there until next year!

While you're at the Paradise Center for the Arts, don't forget to pick up tickets for that evening's Bruce Springsteen Music Fest at 7PM. Check out my blog from yesterday to find out more about this mini-music festival featuring several artists and their bands or visit ParadiseCenterForTheArts.org.
