Tracks in the Snow Community Reception

The Islamic Resource Group, the nonprofit that created the Tracks in the Snow exhibit, invites you to join a free community reception at the Owatonna Arts Center that will be open to the public from 1-4PM in which we explain the exhibit’s story, highlight its major themes, and spark conversations.

Funded by the Minnesota Historical Society’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, Tracks in the Snow provides insight into the lives of Minnesota Muslims. The exhibit captures the variety of their backgrounds and experiences and the factors that led them to make Minnesota their home.

The exhibit takes a close look at the many walks of life that Muslim Minnesotans encompass and the depth of their contributions to Minnesota’s social fabric.
