The Steele County Historical Society's Americana Showcase will be on Friday, September 4 inside the History Center on Austin Road in Owatonna. The social hour will begin at 6:30PM and the music begins at 7:30PM.

Due to the weather, hot and humid conditions, the concert has been moved indoors.

Martin Zellar, John Wheeler and Brandon Sampson will be performing.

Martin Zellar was in Minneapolis-based Gear Daddies. They disband in 1992. Zellar has recordings and performs as a solo artist. He lives in New Mexico with his family.

John Wheeler is from Rochester, MN. He is a member of Six Mile Grove. He plays the pedal steel guitar, dobro and the accordion.

Brandon Sampson is from Lyle, MN. He started playing the guitar very young as part of rehabilitation after injuring his hand. His brother wanted a drum set and that grew into Six Mile Grove. He will be a solo artist as part of the Americana Showcase at the Steele County Historical Society.

Tickets are $15 for Steele County Historical Society's members and $20 for non-members. Tickets will be available at the door.
