Bragging rights to make any car enthusiast green with envy, 10 t-shirts for the winning club, and one ridiculously huge, custom made, one-of-a-kind trophy specially crafted for the first Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Night Car Club Showdown are all on the line this Friday from 6-9PM in downtown Faribault!

Originally scheduled for last Friday, August 19, rain and wet weather forced organizers to cancel the event, and postpone it to this week, but that won't stop the fun. Several car clubs from around the state will compete in the showdown, showcasing and being judged on what they have determined to be their 10 best vehicles, and each being asked to provide a judge who is not allowed to vote for their own club. The winning club will be announced and the award of t-shirts, bragging rights and the ridiculously huge trophy will be given at 8PM this Friday, August 26.

If you have a great vehicle that you are proud of, you're invited to bring it down too! Whether you have a muscle car, custom restoration, old truck, motorcycle, Model A’s, or something else, everyone is welcome to bring their vehicle to the Faribault Car Cruise Night.

Always a free event, Power 96's Mike Eiler will be providing the music. There are prizes, food and beverage vendors, and a great variety of vehicles to check out! For more information, check out Faribault Main Street on Facebook.
