Virtually all farmers have signed up for the Farm Bill because it does provide some protection from low prices. If corn and bean prices and yields are low enough, farmers would earn a payment through the Farm Bill. There was some flexibility in the Farm Bill depending on where you thought prices might go. Most farmers selected the ARC County option. In our area, no soybean payments were earned but in just about all the counties a corn payment was earned.

Gary Kuntz, the Le Sueur County Executive Director, said that the ARC County payments have been made. The money should have been deposited in your checking account. If they have not shown up in your bank account, check with your local Farm Service Agency office. Maybe you changed bank accounts or there was a form that you did not sign. Also, county FSA offices have also issued the CRP payments. Again, if you have CRP and did not receive your payment, check with your FSA office.
