Dennis Was No Menace Poem

Faribault says goodbye Monday to former longtime Jefferson and Nerstrand Elementary Principal Dennis Deanovic who passed away last week from lung cancer at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.  A Polka Mass is being held to celebrate the life of a man who touched so many lives.  Father Keving Finnegan is also returning to the community to send off his former long time Divine Mercy parishioner.  Deanovic was one of the longest living heart transplant recipients in the world !  I penned a poem in his honor and will share it Monday during our 7:05am, 8:05am, 12:15pm, 5:05pm and 6:05pm newscasts. Virtually everybody in Faribault knew Dennis. I hope you'll tune in!
