Decorating Eggs for Easter

Easter is just around the corner, and a time-honored tradition is to decorated the eggs. There are many ways to do this, so I rounded up a few ideas you might want to try!

Depending on your skill level, creativity and the amount of time you are willing to dedicate, there are a million ways to decorate your Easter eggs. I've often used the boxed kit, using only the white crayon and some rubber bands to make any designs, but there are some really fun alternatives out there!

If you like the marbled look, grab some shaving cream and food dye! You can also marble your eggs using nail polish and water. You could try your hand at drawing and create whatever design you can think up using markers or paint. Another fun technique to try is to dye your eggs with rice! You could try naturally dying your eggs or keep it simple making designs with stickers!

For the truly creative, you can use silk transfers to create a unique look, or get very detailed with beautiful and ornate Ukrainian eggs!
