Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers Annual Banquet

The Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers annual banquet is coming up next Monday, March 6. For many years the banquet has been in the evening at Jesse James Lanes in Northfield. However, it will be different this year. With the connections of some of the corn growers, the banquet will be held at the Syngenta Research Center at Stanton. It will begin at 9:30AM with a tour of Syngenta's new Seed Care Institute. The banquet and meal will follow at noon.

Syngenta has invested in a state-of-the-art seed research facility in Stanton. I had the opportunity to tour the Seed Care Institute at the grand opening late last summer. It is really impressive and you will want to jump at this opportunity to see it. The banquet is free to all corn and soybean growers in Rice and Dakota counties.
