After more than a month, Dakota County authorities are still looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured 45-year-old Bryan Joas. He was riding on 250th Street West and Highview Avenue in Eureka Township near Lakeville.

According to a KSTP report, Joas suffered a broken back, broken ribs and a broken pelvis. He was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized, but is improving.

The report also states that investigators are looking for a two-door silver or light-colored pickup truck with a loud muffler. According to the sheriff’s office, the vehicle also will have damage to the front passenger side. One piece of evidence collected at the scene was what investigators believe to be a bug deflector.

There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office at (651) 438-4700.
