Cow Calf Days Friday in Le Center

Every year the University of Minnesota Extension Beef Team hosts Cow Calf Days at many locations around Minnesota. The Cow Calf Days will be in the 4-H Family Center on the Le Sueur County Fairgrounds in Le Center on Friday, January 27. The program will begin at 9:30AM. A $10 registration fee covers the noon meal, proceedings book and a lot of timely information from the University of Minnesota Extension Beef Team.

Topics include Managing Scours in Calves, Hay Rake Equipment Study Results, Grazing Management and Minimizing Hay Waste. To preregister, contact your local extension office or call Diane DeWitte at the Le Sueur County Extension office at (507) 304-4325. If you find at the last minute you can attend but did not preregister, that is fine, just show up. I have been to Cow Calf Days in the past and they always have plenty of food for lunch. In case you are wondering they serve beef for lunch!
