Byron area farmers Rick Lutzi, Kevin Connelly, Martin Larsen, and Tom Pyffereon will be hosting a free cover crop field tour to evaluate the previous year's cover crop plantings. They included aerial seeding, broadcasting, and drilling. The tour will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Registration begins at 9:45 am at the Lutzi farm located at 6235 20th St. SW Rochester. A free pizza lunch will be served at noon. Of course everyone is welcome, farmers, land owners and the general public that may be interested in conservation efforts that are being adopted..
