Bringing the Christmas Spirit to KDHL

A friend of KDHL, Shirley, dropped off a platter of Christmas treats for everyone to share. I had to take a picture of this special Santa Claus. Shirley recently retired and enjoys baking. I am not a baker, but I suspect it does not take a lot of time to make a bunch of cookies. I am sure decorating one like this to look like Santa Clause does take a lot of time. Look at the detail, including coconut for Santa's beard.

This is what makes Christmas special, people doing things like this. Yes we do enjoy treats too! But it is also fun when folks just stop by and say hi, or say they enjoyed the interview you did with someone on AM Minnesota. The downside to the goodies is the growing waistline. I did lose about 20 pounds during harvest, but Shirley and others like her are fixing that! By the way, I did eat the Santa Claus cookie.
