Minnesota State Fair Free Entertainment

The Minnesota State Fair is months away, and yet excitement is building already! The Great Minnesota Get-Together lasts for 12 days, and during that time the grandstands boast some major names including Don Henley, the Dixie Chicks, the Happy Together Tour, Bonnie Raitt and more. But if you can't make the grandstand shows, there is no shortage of other entertainment. In fact, the free entertainment lineup at the Minnesota State Fair is filled with 900 shows.

Kelly’s Summer 2016 Goals

There is a narrow window in which we in Minnesota get to experience sunshine and warm weather. I like to cram as much as possible into the short season. Every summer, I create a wishlist of fun things I hope to accomplish and places I want to go. This summer is no exception. Some of the items repeat every year, and some are new additions.

As usual, the number of things on the list seems to exceed the amount of time allotted, but I hope to cross off as many items as possible!
