US Postal Service Creates Halloween Stamp

If we're being honest, I don't typically pay too much attention to the stamps I use when mailing something. As long as the postage is correct, I'm good to go and into the mail the item goes. But there is such a variety of stamps available, I've seen hearts for weddings, and snowflakes in the winter, and some people have entire collections of stamps. Well, stamp collectors and Halloween enthusiasts get ready, because the U.S. Postal Service is issuing a Halloween stamp!

Music Monday October 3, 2016: Adam Craig

It's Music Monday! Each week, I share something that I am currently listening to and think that you might also enjoy. Check back each week to see what is being featured!

Weekend Roundup September 30-Oct 2

The weekend is here, and after a couple weeks ago when the rain seemed likely to never end, we have been rewarded with a picture perfect fall day and a fantastic forecast for the weekend. Today hit 73 degrees with abundant sunshine and tomorrow is slated for 67 with partly cloudy skies, lows around 50, and nothing but sunshine and 70 on Sunday! Like I said, a seriously great forecast.

Today the Faribault High School homecoming parade marched through downtown Faribault with green and black moving down Central Avenue. Check out great photos from the parade!

But, knowing exactly when the best time to get out and see the colors can be tricky. Lucky for you, we've got it covered!

Faribault Homecoming Flashback Footage

According the the Faribault High School website, "Green is not a color, it's an attitude!" and each year during the Falcon homecoming celebration, that rings true. I recently came across some vintage footage from the 1964-65 school year homecoming pep fest that I though would be fun to share this homecoming week.
