After the good gains Thursday at least we at this point today not giving them all back. Corn is still flirting with the overhead resistance. Gordy mentioned this morning on the air that there are two levels of resistance very close to each other
The grains are recovering some of Wednesday's losses today. Corn is up five or six, beans up eight or nine and wheat up one to two. The corn Export sales report this morning was a shocker at 1.943 MMT while the trade expected 550 to 750MMT
The swine disease PEDV was found in the United States in April. In fact, this is the first time PEDV was confirmed in this hemisphere. When I was at Pork Congress I talked with a Minnesota Pork Producer who had a farrowing barn break with PEDV in December
So far today the grain markets have had very small ranges today. Corn is about unchanged and is still trying to break out above that overhead resistance. In case you have not noticed oats are on a tremendous run higher, up 14 cents to over $4 a bushel
Corn is slightly firmer this morning. The USDA announced a sale of 119,888 MT of corn to an unknown destination for the 2013-14 season. The forecast for Argentina is for temperatures to be increasing this week
Remember, if you are going to be applying Restricted Use Pesticides you need a Private Pesticide Applicator License. Last week, I got a post card from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture telling me my license expires in March
