Last year a Tilt-a-Whirl was restored by Rick and Kelly Dale and their crew on the History Channel Show "Rick's Restorations," and there was a great turnout for the unveiling and its placement downtown. But if you've driven past the corner of Central Avenue and First Street recently, you may have noticed it was absent. The City of Faribault removed it over the winter to help preserve it, but with the snow gone and spring here, the Tilt-a-Whirl has been pulled out of storage and is back on Central Avenue!
Keith Urban had his dad on his mind when he started writing "Gone Tomorrow (Here Today)," a song from his upcoming Ripcord album. But the track is not a tribute to Robert Urban as much as it is a reminder to enjoy life.
